Artist note: I've loved hyenas for a very long time now, and I'm fascinated by the matriarchal arrangement of spotted hyena society. The two hyenas in this drawing are doing the "parallel walk" to intimidate an enemy. They're probably sisters patrolling the territory. Quick Fang's outfit was based on Turkana and Gabbra outfits, and she's wielding a weapon based on a Maasai spear.
