Physically delicate, Lacewing was lifemated to both of her Recognized; Newt, her youngest, was born outside of Recognition.  After her death (how she died is currently unknown), Turtle and Strand became estranged, blaming each other for her loss.  Turtle followed her in death within six months, but Strand survived for a few hundred more years.
